Assistant Mortgage Product Manager
 
Our client, a successful and well respected financial services organisation, are currently recruiting for an Assistant Mortgage Product Manager to join their Mortgage Product team. The successful candidate will ensure that the Mortgage Product Team is able to consistently offer an excellent level of product management and Governance across the business and to ensure the customer is the most important consideration.
 
Responsibilities:
 
Managing product launches with strict adherence to the agreed Product Launch Process
Owning the Product Implementation and assurance process
Compliance with the Mortgage Product Governance framework and ensuring activities are aligned to it
Analysing and reporting on daily, MTD and YTD product performance figures to aid the forecasting and management of future liquidity
Coordinating activities supporting customer retention
Ensuring the business, including the Executive team are fully informed of Competitor movements
Owning projects between Operations and Product management
Create initiatives and customer propositions and manage projects which help fulfil customers’ needs having understood who our customers are and what they expect from a bank
Working closely with Operations to increase efficiencies between Product and the Customer
Building knowledge of all the markets that the company deals with. Understand the organisation and management of the Bank
Working closely with external agencies where appropriate
Maintaining the company’s compliance standards and own compliance training
 
Skills and experience required:
 
One year of Financial Services experience
One year of Product Management experience is essential
One year of experience working within a mortgage related role
Intermediate level of knowledge re use of Excel, Word & PowerPoint
Basic understanding of mortgage products
GSCE/GCE qualifications in both Maths and English (or equivalent)
Degree (or equivalent) qualification in Business or Marketing would be beneficial
CIM qualifications would be beneficial
