Our client is a specialist Mortgage Broker who is looking for a driven, enthusiastic relationship builder to join their Broker team, in a customer centric environment. They package mortgages for over 50 lenders on a ‘whole of market’ basis; specialising in Self-Build, Renovation and Conversion products and services in the UK and are growing rapidly.
Main duties will include: -
- Build and maintain excellent relationships with intermediaries and lenders by taking ownership of all enquiries.
- Keep your own knowledge up to date so that accurate information is given to brokers and the best result is achieved first time.
- Carry out research in an efficient and accurate manner.
- Update systems to allow accurate productivity reports to be produced and effectively manage your own diary.
- Log all forms of contact.
- Follow up new business enquiries received online and over the phone.
- Maintain own enquiry database and maximise applications by pro-actively calling prospects.
- Confidently talk about the different products on offer that could possibly match a client’s needs.
The successful candidate will have:
- At least 2 years of financial services experience within the mortgage field.
- Experience of building and maintaining professional relationships over the phone.
- Ability to multi-task and process information quickly.
- Communicate with a high volume of customers daily within a fast-paced environment.
