Our client is a high growth Private Equity-backed leading provider of origination and servicing software solutions for banks, building societies and specialist lenders throughout the UK and Europe. They are focussing on accelerating their growth through acquisition as well as organic growth.

They have an exciting opportunity for a Business Development Associate, working with the Head of Business Development, Marketing, Pre-Sales and the wider business team to prospect and contact potential clients across the UK.

The role will focus on generating meetings for the sales team in a mix of New Business and Up-Selling, with a fantastic support network in place to help you settle into the role and continue to learn and develop.

Main duties will include: -

  • Working alongside sales and marketing team to build/qualify list of prospects.
  • Identify decision makers within targeted leads to begin the sales process.
  • Strategically cold-call prospects.
  • Create and deliver qualified sales opportunities to the business.

 

The successful candidate will:

  • Have at least 2 years’ sales experience within a relevant area (Software, Banking and Technology).
  • Have previous exposure to a sales environment.
  • Confident to speak and develop relationships via phone.
  • Be able to network and build relationships efficiently.
