Business Improvement Analyst

Head Office, Newbury


Job Purpose:

To support the Business Improvement Manager and Project Managers to successfully deliver change across the business


Duties will include:


  • Undertaking process reviews in a logical and methodical manner  
  • Considering and suggesting opportunities to automate, streamline and avoid duplication within current processes
  • Questioning and challenging current processes
  • Communicating and facilitating conversations with internal teams across the business
  • Providing progress updates to peers, managers and senior managers
  • Providing administrative support to the Business Improvement Manager and the Project Managers        



Essential criteria for the role are:


  • GCSE Maths & English grade C or equivalent  
  • Good planning and organisational skills, with the ability to be flexible, prioritise workloads and meet deadlines
  • Practical experience of working within a team
  • A desire to question and challenge processes
  • Good attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Good knowledge of MS Office packages, including Word, Excel, Outlook
  • A confident, positive and cheerful attitude


Desirable criteria for the role are:


  • Working towards or holding a project management qualification such as PRINCE2 Practitioner, Agile, PMP, Lean Six Sigma
  • Some previous experience within the financial services industry




Hours: This is a full-time role, working 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday.


Salary: Starting salary is £22,000 rising to £23,927 once fully competent, plus benefits
