Business Improvement Analyst
Head Office, Newbury
Job Purpose:
To support the Business Improvement Manager and Project Managers to successfully deliver change across the business
Duties will include:
- Undertaking process reviews in a logical and methodical manner
- Considering and suggesting opportunities to automate, streamline and avoid duplication within current processes
- Questioning and challenging current processes
- Communicating and facilitating conversations with internal teams across the business
- Providing progress updates to peers, managers and senior managers
- Providing administrative support to the Business Improvement Manager and the Project Managers
Essential criteria for the role are:
- GCSE Maths & English grade C or equivalent
- Good planning and organisational skills, with the ability to be flexible, prioritise workloads and meet deadlines
- Practical experience of working within a team
- A desire to question and challenge processes
- Good attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Good knowledge of MS Office packages, including Word, Excel, Outlook
- A confident, positive and cheerful attitude
Desirable criteria for the role are:
- Working towards or holding a project management qualification such as PRINCE2 Practitioner, Agile, PMP, Lean Six Sigma
- Some previous experience within the financial services industry
Hours: This is a full-time role, working 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
Salary: Starting salary is £22,000 rising to £23,927 once fully competent, plus benefits
