Our client is an award-winning financial services provider, based in Cumbria and they have an exciting opportunity for a Commercial Finance Manager to join the business.
As their Commercial Finance Manager, you will be responsible for the production of the Society’s corporate plan and regular forecasts, which will include financial modelling, coordination of key stakeholders and presentations to Senior Management.
Main duties will include:
- Responsible for the management of the ‘commercial finance’ team within the Society’s finance department including Treasury middle office reporting.
- Key member of finance management team.
- Guide and mentor wider team members, particularly those new to the industry and/or the society.
- Stakeholder management across the firm, particularly with functions key to successful execution of role e.g. product, operations, risk.
The successful candidate will have retail banking/building society experience and have a good understanding of the mortgage/retail savings market. Commercial Finance knowledge and experience is essential. You will have experience of managing and developing teams and organising projects and priorities and have an accountant qualification.
Strong financial modelling skills are essential.
