Newbury Building Society - Customer Service Adviser

Location:   Basingstoke 

Hours:  35 hours per week - Monday-Friday 9am to 5pm, plus 2 in 4 Saturdays 9am to 3pm

Salary:  £17,595 - £19,550 per annum, plus an additional Saturday overtime payment.

Are you numerate, with some knowledge of Office Outlook, Word and Excel?

As part of a team of other like-minded individuals, your main responsibilities will be:

  • To provide an exceptional service to new and existing customers, mostly face to face but also over the phone and in writing
  • To confidently deal with cash and other transactions related to savings accounts
  • To work with customers to identify their current and future needs   

Some experience of working with customers and/or handling cash or finances would be advantageous but not essential.  

You may be required to provide cover at other branch locations, so a flexible approach and willingness to travel is desirable.
