Data Team Analyst (SQL)
Location: Cumbria
Our client is an award-winning financial services provider based in Cumbria, they're currently looking for a Data Team Analyst with SQL experience to join their IT team.
The successful candidate will learn new skills, utilising the APEX platform, to assist in the planning, design and creation of high-quality data feeds to and across the various business units. A key attribute of the role will be the ability to work productively both alone and as part of a team.
You will be working collaboratively with the business units to:
- Assist in the design and delivery of data requests for the Societies various business units.
- Learn to provide accurate management information to Operational Management and the Executive team.
- Have a driven approach to meeting regulatory and statutory deadlines.
- Be proactive in highlighting any risks and issues through effective escalation to team leads and ensure continued visibility until resolution.
The successful candidate will be expected to possess the following:
- Experience of working with Oracle database technologies, in particular SQL, PL/SQL, Packages, Procedures, Functions, Triggers and Views.
- Experience of working with Oracle APEX - Desirable not essential.
- Highly motivated, possessing a "can-do" attitude
- Excellent communication skills with an eye for detail
- A professional commitment to high quality and a passion for learning new skills
- Exposure to the full development lifecycle, including requirement gathering/analysis, design, development, testing, Implementation and support - Desirable not essential.
