Expansion sees them now recruiting for a Financial Risk & Regulatory Reporting Manager to join the Finance team. They are looking for an enthusiastic, capable, and self-starting individual to lead the management, production, and analysis of regulatory financial information, and to provide management and oversight of Treasury.

The Responsibilities of the Financial Risk & Regulatory and Reporting Manager

l lead the management, production, and analysis of regulatory financial information, and provide management and oversight of the Treasury function.

In particular, the Financial Risk and Regulatory Reporting Manager has responsibility for the accurate and timely submission of financial information to the Prudential Regulation Authority (PRA), Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) and the Bank of England.

On a day-to-day basis the Financial Risk and Regulatory Reporting Manager will also support the Head of Finance and Finance Director with credit risk analysis of the Society’s loan portfolio, quarterly stress testing of the Society’s capital position and completion of the Society’s ICAAP, Recovery Plan and Pillar 3 Disclosures.

Responsible for hedge accounting, including compliance with the hedge accounting strategy and preparation of all supporting month end documentation.  Timely analysis of mortgage book and capital stress testing, including input into the ICAAP and ILAAP process.  Responsible for Direct Reports and their development, 121’s, and annual appraisals.

Requirements for the of the Financial Risk & Regulatory and Reporting Manager

You will have experience of regulatory returns including applicable COREP, FINREP, ALMM reporting and ability to interpret and implement regulatory changes.  Financial services experience will be an asset and you will have been qualified as an Accountant for a few years.
