Our client is a small but highly successful and well-respected financial services organisation who are going through an exceptional period of change. They have an exciting opportunity to join their Sales and Marketing Team as a Marketing Product Manager, to lead, define, develop and manage the Marketing Proposition Strategy to maximise business opportunities within the defined market. This role holder will lead product development initiatives across both new and existing propositions and be responsible for carrying out product reviews.

 

Our clients head office is based in Kent; however they are open to a flexible approach to the working week. Initially however, they would like more office presence for training purposes.

 

Duties of the Marketing Product Manager will include: -

 

  • Lead, develop and deliver product development initiatives, from idea stage through to launch, including completion of the required documentation, obtaining the correct approvals and engaging with all required internal and external teams and stakeholders.
  • Proactive product management Identifying and implementing product modifications, closures or other changes as a result of customer insight and business performance.
  • Building strong relationships with all other areas of the business to facilitate timely completion of product tasks.
  • Oversight of legal and regulatory developments impacting our client’s product range.
  • Carry out product reviews and produce reports to meet regulatory and internal requirements
  • Through intelligent product and proposition design – meet and exceed sales targets, drive growth and retention of new and existing members

 

The successful candidate will possess:

  • Extensive experience in a senior marketing role, with prominent focus on product development and management, ideally within financial services
  • An analytical mindset, able to take data creatively to develop insights and analysis of market and competitor trends.
  • A marketing qualification or relevant degree would be desirable
