Our client is a relatively new and growing specialist mortgage lender who are looking to ‘challenge the norm’ and create a fresh way of working as well as fresh and innovative mortgage products. If you are looking for a career within a fun and energetic company, who embrace diversity and are value led, this new specialist intermediary mortgage lender is currently seeking a Mortgage Lending Advisor to provide telephone support to internal and external contacts.
Ideally, you will already have some years’ experience in a high-volume telephone-based support role and be available to start at relatively short notice in this role. This position is initially on a 12-month fixed term contract, however there will likely be opportunities to go permanent if business volumes support it.
Currently, employees are remotely working, and this role will initially support that, however they are looking at a potential phased returned in the near future so residing in close proximity to Surrey would be essential.
The role is predominately taking inbound calls, providing a professional and friendly service to both internal (sales, compliance) and external contacts (e.g. intermediaries / brokers, solicitors, surveyors) in supporting the underwriting team to manage and complete business to stringent SLAs and deadlines.
Experience required:
- 1 years+ experience in a high volume, telephony role – ideally within mortgages or financial services.
- Customer contact experience with a clear and professional telephone manner along with a commitment to service excellence
- Ability to perform well under pressure and adhere to strict deadlines.
- Excellent keyboard and IT literacy (including use of Microsoft Word and Excel)
Full training would be provided remotely, and our client will provide all the equipment you need.
