Our client is a very successful niche financial services provider who are looking to add to their mortgage team by recruiting a Team Manager due to an internal promotion. The main purpose of the role will be to manage the daily mortgage operations function to deliver lending in accordance with strategic plans and to provide the highest level of customer service to their customers.

The principle duties are:

·         Day to day management of the Mortgage department from the point of sales and application through case pipeline management to                    drawdown and all aspects of post completion loan servicing to include arrears and forbearance functions

·         Management of a high performing team to include monthly 1-2-1, recruitment and development

·         Responsibility to update Procedures and their continued maintenance

·         Authorisation of post contract variations and funds release

·         To act as deputy for the Mortgage Operations Manager

·         Involvement in the management of Risk and Incidents

·         Quality Assurance checks

·         Involvement with the design, launch, review and monitoring of a new Training & Competency scheme

·         Any other related duties as directed by the Mortgage Operations Manager or Head of Lending

Ideally you will be/have:

·         Highly customer centric individual with a passion to deliver the highest level of service to internal and external customers

·         A mortgage lending background, ideally with experience of the full mortgage lending lifecycle highly desirable

·         Good level of understanding of mortgage lending regulation and mortgage market

·         Experience of arrears and forbearance within a secured mortgage lending environment desirable

·         CeMAP qualified

·         Previous experience of managing a team
