Our client is seeking an experienced Mortgage Underwriter to join their team to provide exceptional levels of support in processing and underwriting mortgage applications.
Duties of the Mortgage Underwriter will include: -
- Underwriting and file quality checks of all new mortgage cases including further advances from application through to completion.
- To make underwriting decisions within policy, procedural guidelines, and delegated mandates.
- Daily review of incoming mortgage applications via Broker Online system and direct customer business.
- Reviewing and signing off Mortgage Offer’s in an accurate, concise, and timely manner
- To ensure mortgage documentation including application case and file notes, lending referrals and rationales are fully and accurately recorded.
The successful candidate for the Mortgage Underwriter will possess:
- Previous manual mortgage underwriting experience in a prime lending environment would be preferable
- Or experience in a senior processing role
- Be CeMap qualified.
Please note that this role holder will be required to be office based 5 days a week (35 hours) plus Saturday mornings on a rotational basis.
