Introduction:
Our client, a friendly, financial services mutual are seeking an Operational Risk Analyst to provide support to the CRO in Operational and Business Risk control and oversight. The organisation is focused on delivering innovative and flexible mortgage products to meet the needs of the modern family across all generations and individuals not well served by the mass market.
The role will assist the Operational Risk manager along with the Chief Risk Officer (CRO) to deliver the operational risk and resilience management strategy.
Responsibilities of the Operational Risk Analyst
Assist in maintaining and updating core documents for operational risk management, including:
- Operational Risk & Resilience Management Strategy (including outsourcing and change management).
- Operational Risk Policy
- Operational Risk procedures (including Risk Registers, RCSAs and Risk Incident Management)
Work with the Operational Risk Manager to ensure the business has an effective operational risk management system and framework, that operational risks can be identified, monitored and managed at all times. Assist with the production of periodic Operational Risk and Resilience reports to Executive and Board Committees.
Requirements for the Risk Officer role include:
Your experience will include at least 1 years’ experience in operational risk and a good understanding of the risk lifecycle and risk methodologies, experience of risk controls and the ability to present MI in a simple but effective way.
