Our client, a market leader in mortgages and savings, have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Operations Transformation Manager to join their team.

The key purpose of this role is to support the operational functions across company to deliver and embed key initiatives designed to maximise opportunities for growth. You will lead and develop the Ops Transformation team, whilst also working closely with Operations and Business Change Teams expanding the Strategic Operation Functions.

Main duties will include: -

  • Provide line management support and continuous evaluation against team delivery and performance against functional objectives and take action where needed to ensure delivery and execution meets the requirements of the project scope.
  • Support and contribute to identification of process improvement and project requirements workshops and resolve complex scoping issues and stakeholder conflicts.
  • Work with Programme, Project Managers and Operations stakeholders to ensure the various stages of the project delivery are understood, accepted and approved by key stakeholders across Operations within the agreed timelines.
  • Prepare and provide regular reporting / status reports against agreed delivery timelines and actions, clearly documenting progress, any risks & issues against the delivery.
  • Support Ops in creating robust, accurate process manuals as a result of the change.
  • Line manage and coach all direct reports, including all aspects of performance management, development, conduct, sickness management, appraisals, employee administration and recruitment.

Please note there could be a requirement to travel to other sites in the UK, and also India.

The successful candidate will have vast Operational Management experience within financial services, have previously delivered strategic/transformation projects and operational change initiatives.
