Our client, a financial services provider, are seeking an analytically minded individual, to join their mortgage product and propositions team as a Product Associate. The purpose of this role is to provide effective support to the team by continuously maintaining a detailed database and analysis of competitor products and pricing in multiple markets. The Product Associate will be completing research and responsible for their pricing database.

Key duties of the Product Design Associate will include:

  • Produce and maintain knowledge database of key competitors, pricing and high level lending criteria. Ensure that market analysis is always readily available, working with other teams to provide this as required.
  • Ensure that key competitor movements and the potential impact are reported
  • To assist the pricing team with tasks required for the delivery of new product pricing across multiple brands and lending lines that may include: Residential (Core Residential (incl. DMP), Help to Buy, Right to Buy, Shared Ownership), Buy to Let (Core personal ownership, HMO, Limited Company, Limited Company HMO), Commercial & Semi Commercial, Bridging Finance, Second Charge and Retention approaches and pricing
  • Support with the administration and data reviews required for monitoring product performance across the lending lines in order to lead to insight and informed recommendations
  • Produce the appropriate data as required in order that the analysis can be carried out in order to generate insight and understanding, working with internal teams (e.g., MI, Sales) and external contacts to build a clearer view of the market and product performance
  • Support the team with the design and sign off process for all changes to product ranges, including liaison with Specialist Finance
  • Provide support to the business, notably, e.g., Marketing and Sales, and champion the product design to ensure a successful product launch
  • Support the team where required on ensuring all product launches are 100% accurate and on time.


Our client is seeking someone with the following experience: -

  • Educated to degree level in a relevant subject i.e. Economics or History
  • Excel knowledge
  • Experience within financial services would be highly desirable, but not essential
