We are recruiting for a Marketing Insight Analyst to an award winning, local financial services provider.  You will be based within the MI & Analytics side of the Sales & Marketing team, responsible for driving the lifetime value of customers through improved understanding of customer and product behaviour and driving improved CRM activity through the customer and product lifecycles.

 

The ideal candidate will have had experience in an analytical role and will require excellent data skills, high levels of numeracy and the ability to translate data into usable insight that is easy to understand throughout the business. Strong communication skills will therefore be very important. 

 

Key responsibilities include:

 

  • Analysis of product portfolios (e.g. mortgage and savings), developing usable Management Information and Insight into how each product is performing. 
  • Defining, implementing and improving the CRM programmes to drive improved customer lifetime value.
  • Providing regular reporting (monthly) to key stakeholder groups including Product Pricing Committee and making recommendations to drive improved customer retention and the broadening and deepening of customer product holding.
  • Promote the value of insight and evidence based decisioning across the business, identifying and managing data insight projects.   

 

Skills & Qualifications required:

 

  • Degree in a numerical based discipline e.g. mathematics, statistics, economics etc is preferred but not essential if you have the experience.
  • 3+ years’ experience in a direct marketing, data analysis or business insight role (required)
  • Demonstrable track record of using data insight to drive improvements in customer retention, lifetime value etc. (required)
  • Familiarity with database and analytical tools e.g. SAS, SQL, excel etc (required)
  • Technical skills in data modelling would be an advantage (preferred)
