Project Manager - Newbury

 

We are looking for a Project Manager to plan and support strategic change management and tactical projects identified from the annual Corporate Plan and annual business planning processes, and act as a Project Manager on a number of projects as agreed by the Project Steering Committee.

 

Reporting to the Project Steering Committee via the Operations & Sales Director, the key responsibilities of the role are:

 

  • Project planning and implementation
  • Project reporting
  • Budget management
  • Understand and follow FCA/PRA requirements, Codes of Practice and Society procedures

 

Essential criteria for the role are:

  • Demonstrable practical project management experience
  • Extensive experience of Change/Project/Risk Management in a commercial environment
  • Ability to use a range of PC packages and software with extensive knowledge of spreadsheets and project management tools
  • Strong man-management skills
  • Ability to provide reliable and accurate information within a structured timetable
  • Strong planning and organisational skills
  • Team player with a collaborative approach
  • Strong decision making skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively with senior management and colleagues at all levels
  • Positive, service-oriented outlook
  • Educated to A Level standard

 

 

Desirable criteria for the role are:

 

  • Knowledge of Investment appraisal techniques
  • Project Management qualification
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills
  • Degree

 

This is a full time role, working 9am- 5pm, Monday to Friday

 

Salary range: £36,810 - £40,900 plus benefits
