Senior Business Analyst

Introduction:

Our client is a start-up FinTech business in the UK but backed by an international business firmly established and so well capitalised.  They operate an innovative and proven mortgage processing solution for both conveyancers and lending providers which they are launching into the UK market.  You will join a team of skilled and passionate people whose culture centres around collaboration and inspiring impact. 

They are growing rapidly and are looking for a Business Analyst in the UK team, your initial focus will be working in a Discovery Team on a significant enhancement to our product by validating hypotheses with the market on an end-to-end solution aligned to strategy.  You will document proposed solution and knowns/unknowns, work with technology teams to support spikes & POCs and craft the epics feeding into the roadmap, delivery plan and resource plans.  You will then move delivery where you will be a critical resource within a squad (and supporting other BAs in different squads) to bring the solution to life.

You will be a part of an exciting journey where we build out our portfolio of products to support the property industry’s transformation.

Responsibilities of the Business Analyst include:

Support Discovery Phase

You will work alongside the Discovery team to shape the proposition for the next major product line to come into the platform.  Document end to end process flows and user journeys (as-is/to-be).  Support the UX lead in the development of low-fi wireframes that can be tested with market.  Develop epics for the solution that feed into the overall program. Support in developing artefacts that will take the proposition into delivery.

Requirements for the Business Analyst role include:      

  • 10+ years’ experience as a business analyst with proven exposure to property or mortgage area implementing Agile
  • Experience working on multi-jurisdictional product development would be highly regarded.

Our client’s office is currently based in Basingstoke, however this is a largely remote role.  You will be required to travel to the office no more than once a week and if you live over 60 miles from the office, your travel will be paid.
