Senior Solutions Architect - Product Owner


Up to £110k + 15% bonus / benefits


Our client is an exciting start-up FinTech business in the UK which will revolutionise property settlements, but backed by an international business firmly established and so well capitalised.  They operate an innovative and proven mortgage processing solution for both conveyancers and lending providers which they are launching into the UK market.  You will join a team of skilled and passionate people whose culture centres around collaboration and inspiring impact. 


As a Senior Solutions Architect in the UK team your initial focus will be working with the Discovery team who will validate hypotheses with the market for an end-to-end solution aligned to their strategy and drive.  You will be responsible for technical solutions, Spikes, PoCs and technical artefacts. Focus will then move to delivery where you will be a critical resource within a squad to bring the solution to life.

You will be a part of an exciting journey where they build out their portfolio of products to support the property industry’s transformation.

Requirements for the Senior Solutions Architect role include:         

You will have a deep understanding and passion for modern engineering practices and how these are practically applied within the constructs of new platforms, comprised of loosely coupled, custom built and best in breed components. 

  • 10+ years’ as a solution architect or engineer with full stack experience preferably gained within Fintech or Financial Services
  • Experience in the development, integration and implementation of custom built, international, high availability cloud software platforms.
  • Extensive API, microservices, and AWS expertise.
  • Working knowledge of building and implementing microservices and event driven architecture.
  • 5+ years’ experience working in and implementing Agile.
  • Payment settlement experience would be an advantage e.g. FPS, SWIFT, CHAPS, BACS, RTGS.

Our client’s office is currently based in Basingstoke, however this is a largely remote role.  You will be required to travel to the office once a week and if you live over 60 miles from the office, your travel will be paid but you will need to have the ability to stay overnight when required as their permanent location in the future could be anywhere in the UK.
