The Treasury & Regulatory Reporting Analyst will work in the Company’s Head Office within the Finance & Treasury Team.  You will work closely with the Financial Controller and Financial Accountant on a day-to-day basis, plus a wide range of other teams across the business.

 

You will be responsible for producing many of the Company’s regulatory returns using a data warehouse interface, and deputise for the Financial Accountant in the production of financial regulatory returns. You will be the primary treasury dealer for the Company investing in treasury securities and will monitor cashflows and take actions to maintain appropriate levels of liquid assets.  Attention to detail will be key, along with an honest and open approach where any issues or errors are escalated promptly in an environment of trust.

 

Primary Responsibilities include:

  • Preparing regulatory reporting for submission to the regulators
  • Preparing schedules for inclusion in the ILAAP and ICAAP
  • Undertaking treasury deals on behalf of the Company
  • Monitoring Interest Rate Risk and proposing changes to hedging positions
  • Preparing treasury and prudential risk papers for ALCO, ExCo and Board
  • Involvement in stress testing of both capital and liquidity
  • Monitoring credit ratings and CDS spreads of authorised treasury counterparties.

 

Skills & Experiences required:

  • Knowledge of regulatory reporting, especially COREP
  • Previous experience within a PRA regulated bank of building society
  • An understanding of UK and international banking regulation
  • An understanding of interest rate risk, liquidity risk and capital adequacy
  • Strong Microsoft Excel/Word skills
  • Previous experience in treasury dealing and use of a Treasury Management System would be beneficial
