This is an excellent opportunity to support the delivery of a large-scale transformation initiative while gaining exposure across programme delivery, business readiness, implementation, migration, and operational change activities.

You will play a key role in maintaining programme momentum and visibility, coordinating across technical and business workstreams, supporting governance and reporting processes, and ensuring operational teams are fully prepared for migration from legacy banking platforms to the target environment.

On a weekly basis you will be office based 2 days each week minimum.
Please note that you must be able to commute to Mansfield, Notts on a daily basis when required, as sometimes demand to be in the office will be at short notice.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the successful delivery of a major Core Banking Transformation Programme by coordinating activities across multiple workstreams and stakeholder groups.
  • Maintain programme plans, delivery schedules, readiness plans, action trackers, and dependency logs to ensure progress remains on track.
  • Prepare and manage programme reporting, governance documentation, RAID logs, status updates, and readiness assessments.
  • Coordinate programme meetings, workshops, governance forums, steering committees, and operational walkthroughs, ensuring actions and decisions are captured and followed through.
  • Monitor risks, issues, dependencies, and delivery actions, escalating concerns where appropriate.
  • Support business readiness, implementation, migration, transition, and go-live activities to minimise operational disruption.
  • Coordinate stakeholder communications, readiness updates, training activity tracking, and engagement across impacted business functions.
  • Track completion of SOPs, operational sign-offs, process readiness, business acceptance activities, and training requirements.
  • Work closely with Business Analysts, SMEs, Test Teams, Operations, HR, IT stakeholders, and third-party suppliers to identify and resolve delivery and readiness gaps.

Skills & Experience Required:

  • Previous experience in a Project Coordinator, Junior Project Manager, Programme Support, Business Readiness, Change, Delivery Support, or similar role.
  • Experience working within financial services, banking, or another regulated environment would be ideal.
  • Strong organisational, planning, and administrative skills with excellent attention to detail in a fast paced environment.
  • Proven ability to coordinate activities across multiple stakeholders, workstreams, and business functions.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to build effective working relationships.
  • Strong documentation, reporting, presentation, and Microsoft Office skills.
  • Hands-on, proactive, enthusiastic and adaptable approach with willingness to work on-site more frequently during key workshops, implementation phases, or programme milestones.
