Working for a specialist commercial bank who are highly customer centric, we have a fantastic number of opportunities based in the Birmingham area for Business Development/Relationship Managers. Our client is focussed on lending to those businesses who want to make a positive social & community based economic impact, likeminded individuals who have a social conscience and want to create a better society.
The purpose of your role will be to acquire and manage banking relationships. You will be acting as an ambassador for the Bank in the external business community by establishing, maintaining and growing relationships with key sector organisations and professional intermediaries. As a senior member of their commercial lending team you will also work with more junior members of staff, coaching others in relationship management methods that you have learnt.
Successful candidates will be strong on business development and have sound commercial lending credit skills, they generally lend up to circa. £10m. You will have an existing business and introducer network of contacts and be able to build/tap into these networks quickly. They are looking for self-motivated individuals who have enthusiasm for businesses with a social conscience.
We are particularly interested in Commercial Relationship Managers with lending experience in:
- green/environmental sustainability sector
- social/community/student housing
