Role: Digital Marketing Assistant
Location: Newbury (Hybrid working available after probation)
Hours: Monday-Friday 9am-5pm
Salary Range: £25k - £26k

Key responsibilities are:
- Working with the team to drive brand awareness, customer acquisition, retention, and conversion.
- Assisting colleagues to utilise data to provide insights, segmentation and profiling for mortgage and savings customers.
- Responsibility for managing and measuring the performance of all online activity and campaigns, using targeted data through the appropriate channels
- Online marketing delivery, management, and evaluation:
o E-marketing – improve and optimise performance of campaigns, manage data, grow permission-based database, and maximise data capture
o Website – best practice, awareness of UX, updating and developing
o Social media – presence, management, and development of social media.
o Digital advertising and SEO activity working with our digital agency
- Supporting the Marketing and Communications Manager with the segmenting and profiling of customer data to improve marketing results, retention, and ROI for all digital marketing activities.
- Working with stakeholders to help drive introduced and direct sales campaigns and customer loyalty programmes.
- Contributing to the creation and development of engaging written, graphic, and video content
- Measure performance of digital marketing efforts using a variety of Web analytics tools (Google Analytics, WebTrends etc.)
- Staying up to date on latest marketing technologies and social media. Monitor peers and competitors and provide suggestions for improvement
How you will do this:
- Demonstrate a growth mindset, being comfortable to ask for clarification and guidance from the team
- Be confident in the use of technology and on-line tools, particularly Microsoft O365
- Set high standards, with high accuracy and attention to detail, understanding the need for a flexible approach to achieve results.
- Use logic to evaluate alternatives and recommend solutions to meet goals and improve outcomes
- Build and maintain positive working relationships whilst using knowledge to influence others where appropriate
- Effectively prioritise to achieve long and short-term goals
Desirable/Ideal skills experience:
- Experience as Digital Marketing Assistant or similar marketing role
- Excellent understanding of digital marketing concepts and best practices
- Experience with B2B and B2C social media, Google AdWords and email campaigns and SEO/SEM
- Experience of using website CRM, e-marketing tools and social media for business
- Knowledge of web analytics tools (e.g. Google Analytics, Web Trends etc.)
