As an experienced financial services marketing professional this is your opportunity to join a growing and ambitious lender in this newly created role and be the leader of the overall marketing strategy for the organisation.

The purpose of the Head of Marketing role is to create and manage a Marketing Strategy that delivers their key strategic goals. These include local, intermediary, specialist mortgage and member engagement strategies. Designing and managing clear and key messages through a programme of interaction with internal and external audiences, managing the marketing team to tight deadlines to deliver the strategy. The objective is to attract new business and engage with our members by building loyalty and brand awareness within our target audiences.  The Head of Marketing will deal with key stakeholders across the business and externally.

  • Managing the marketing team to ensure deliverables are met on time
  • Manage key internal relationships
  • Manage third party suppliers
  • To support the sales team by designing a marketing strategy that delivers on the strategical goals
  • Design, implement and manage a member engagement strategy that complements the company ethos
  • To implement marketing strategy
  • To collate and provide up-dates and internal reports on progress as and when required.
  • To work with the marketing team to develop their individual expertise and increase the marketing capability within the company
  • To actively manage process improvements to ensure the continued productivity and quality and service provided by the team.
  • Responsible for the adherence to Compliance within the Marketing team including Financial promotions

You will have had exposure to:

  • Designing and managing marketing strategy
  • PR and Communications experience
  • Budget Control experience
  • Highly creative and Innovative
  • Knowledge of website and marketing analytics tools
  • Hands on experience with web content design and management tools, for example WordPress
  • Excellent Presentation Skills
  • Proficient in Social Media Management
  • Proven experience in Market Research
