Hybrid – 2 days in office minimum

 

This is a great opportunity to work for a highly customer focussed and established mortgage and savings provider. Reporting to the Senior People and Culture Manager, the HR Officer will be responsible for assisting the team in all HR needs and assisting with stakeholders across the organisation to gauge an understanding of their needs, providing a solution focussed service.

 

This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual who really wants to learn and progress within a HR function. Our client will mentor and train this individual to grow to BP level. They are happy to support this person in CIPD qualifications to aid their growth.

 

 

Responsibilities of the HR People Partner include:

 

  • Provide advice and guidance to business leadership teams, managers and employees on all employment-related matters.
  • Assist with workforce planning and vacancy management across the business.
  • Support the Senior People & Culture Manager with embedding an inclusive and supportive culture that contributes to the ambition to be a great place to work whilst continuing to support employee performance and growth.
  • Contribute to the design and delivery of HR policy training sessions, coaching managers to develop their competence and confidence in people management.
  • Support managers on ER cases, working towards a successful conclusion within legislative, policy guidelines, and best practice.
  • Proactively manage health and well-being through review meetings, referrals to Occupational Health, and management of long-term cases with line managers.

 

Experience, Skills & Requirements for the role are:

 

  • Previous HR experience is essential.
  • Ideally CIPD level 3 qualified, however our client will support this individual to gain this qualification (and any additional qualifications).

 

Our client is looking for candidates who are highly customer focussed.  The successful candidate will likely come from a HR Advisor type role within a regulated environment.  You will live within commutable distance, minimum 2 days a week in the office but for the first months in the role you will be more regularly onsite as you meet everyone in the business and be flexible when required to attend in addition to the 2 days.
