IT Security & Infrastructure Manager

What will you be doing?

 

Reporting the IT Manager and working closely with the IT Operations Manager, you will lead a dedicated 2nd line technology team, to design, implement and maintain robust security measures to protect the business and its customers.  You will need a strong working knowledge and experience of cyber security, along with previous leadership or management experience.  An example of some of your responsibilities includes:

 

  • Oversee the management and maintenance of IT infrastructure, including servers, networks and other critical technology components. 
  • Provide support for 1st line escalation and cross-collaboration with IT Operations Manager, to ensure day to day support and operational resilience.

 

Key skills & experiences required:

 

  • Experience of leading and developing a technical team within IT security
  • Proven experience in IT cyber security and infrastructure management with an in depth knowledge of cyber security principles, frameworks and best practice
  • Experience of managing hosted and on-premise services and infrastructure
  • Knowledge of Microsoft desktop applications, Active Directory and Microsoft 365 to an advanced level

We are based in the centre of Newbury and hybrid working expectations are a minimum of 2 days a week (more during training / probation) in the office but you must be able to cover any day of the week.  In return they offer a full time equivalent salary up to £55k and a great benefits package.  This includes a generous holiday allowance, contributory stakeholder pension scheme, access to our free NBS Rewards discounts and our wellbeing programmes, and your birthday off!
