Our client is a niche savings and investments provider who are looking for a Membership Propositions Manager to take them on to the next stage of their development. This is a key role within the organisation that will help them to achieve their ambitious growth targets. The main purpose of the role is to lead, define, develop and manage the Marketing Proposition Strategy to maximise business opportunities within the defined affinity market and to lead product development initiatives across both new and existing propositions. 

·         Lead, develop and deliver product development initiatives, from idea stage through to launch

·         Proactive product management by identifying and implementing product modifications, closures or other changes as a result of customer insight and business performance

·         Building strong relationships with all other areas of the business

·         Oversight of legal and regulatory developments impacting the product range.

·         Oversight of competitive landscape

·         Lead new proposition development and proposition enhancement activity, for example membership benefits

·         Through intelligent product and proposition design – meet and exceed sales targets, drive growth and retention of new and existing members

 

The ideal candidate:

 

·         At least 5 years in a senior marketing role with a focus on product development and management of a product portfolio, preferably in a financial services environment​. Product Management experience is essential. 

·         Likely to be of graduate calibre with a professional marketing qualification

·         Strategic thinker with a proven ability to formulate product and proposition development strategies from scratch

·         Project management – comfortable taking ownership for management and delivery of product and proposition initiatives

·         Comfortable with initiating research and undertaking competitor analysis

·         Analytical skills – continual analysis of market trends and competitor initiatives
