Mortgage Administrator

Our client is a specialist intermediary mortgage lender, challenging traditional ways of thinking within the mortgage industry. They are seeking a Mortgage Administrator to join their team, ensuring departmental targets are met, along with maintaining high standards to all stakeholders including intermediaries.

Duties of the Mortgage Administrator will include: -

  • Receive inbound calls from intermediaries and action as appropriate in a timely manner to increase efficiency.
  • Action and effectively maintain a pipeline of administrative tasks, ensuring workload is actioned within set SLA.
  • Ensure a high level of customer service is maintained on a daily basis.
  • Great problem solver and able to remain calm under pressure.
  • Genuine passion for speaking to customers, answering queries and a clear communicator.
  • Listening and being able to build relationships at point of contact.
  • Respond to customer, intermediary or solicitor enquiries.
  • Build successful working relationships with external contacts such as brokers, customers, surveyors and solicitors as well as internal teams such as Sales & Marketing, Risk, Compliance etc to help to ensure all lending requirements are satisfied prior to release of funds.
  • Interact with intermediaries and customers to ensure expectations are being met at all times
  • Deliver on promises made.

The successful candidate for the Mortgage Administrator will possess:

  • Prior experience within an administrative/customer service environment.
  • Experience ideally within mortgages. 

Our clients head office is based in Surrey, and they are open to this role being of hybrid nature i.e. 3 days in the office and the rest working remotely.
