Our client is a mortgage and savings provider, putting their customers at the heart of what they do, ensuring a first-class customer journey. They have an excellent opportunity for a Mortgage Advisor.

 

As a Mortgage Advisor, you will be providing mortgage advice in a regulated environment, adhering to the company’s lending criteria and policy whilst providing a professional member experience.

 

Key Responsibilities will include:

 

  • Meeting with new and/or existing members either face to face, over the telephone or online, providing the most suitable mortgage advice
  • Undertaking fact-finds to establish the customer’s current financial situation and future aspirations
  • Meet performance KPIs to support the delivery of our financial objectives aligned with the Society’s Corporate Plan
  • Providing high quality professional mortgage advice for a range of mortgage needs, including purchases, additional lending, re-mortgages and retention
  • Providing a mortgage service for landlords financing buy-to-let mortgages
  • Support existing borrowers with enquiries including hardship, bereavement, contract variations and product switches
  • Ensuring all regulatory documentation is completed within the required timeframes in addition to adhering to Society SLAs
  • Identifying opportunities and pursuing opportunities to increase the Society’s mortgage revenue.
  • Maintain Financial Crime awareness alongside the requirement to report suspicious activity or mortgage fraud to the MLRO

 

 

The successful individual will possess:

 

  • Fully CeMAP qualified
  • Previous experience in mortgage advising role (minimum 1 year)
  • Knowledge/experience of Financial Crime

 

They can offer a hybrid approach to the working week, ideally with 3 days in the office and the remainder 2 at home. Ideally a full-time role, however they would be open to part-time with flexibility.
