Role: Mortgage Services Administration Support

Location: Dorset

 

 

Our client is an award winning and highly customer focussed financial services provider. They have an exciting opportunity for a Mortgage Services Administrator to join their underwriting team.

 

The main purpose of the role is to provide administrative support to the post-application assessment process and to assist in the provision of administration support in relation to customers who are experiencing payment difficulty

 

Duties will include: -

 

•             Conduct application processing and pre-underwriting checks packaging the case ready for underwriting

•             Chasing/requesting outstanding documents

•             Acknowledgment of receipt of case and collection of fees

•             Updating of the Society’s internal CRM system and broker portal.

•             Liaising with Brokers and Business Development Managers

•             Instructing mortgage valuations

•             Packaging Mortgage Offers

•             Inbound call handling of application updates for direct customer and broker calls

•             Assist in providing support for customers in payment difficulty.

 

Ideally the successful candidate will be:

 

 

•             Confident, professional and engaging telephone manner

•             Capability to work under own initiative as well as part of a team

•             Excellent data entry skills with the ability to decipher information

•             Willing to embrace change and to learn new skills

•             Excellent customer service levels with a flexible and positive “can do” attitude

•             Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (particularly Word, Excel)

•             Financial Services background (desirable not essential).

•             CeMAP qualified (or prepared to study for CeMAP)

•             Experience of dealing with customers in vulnerable situations (desirable not essential).
