Our client is an award winning, local financial services provider who are customer focussed and have an enviable record of long term success. Owing to internal movement they have a requirement for a Regulatory Finance Manager, focussed on the management and preparation of all regulatory reporting to the PRA, FCA and Bank of England. You will also be responsible for the management of the front office Treasury function and preparation of policies and procedures relating to liquidity management, balance sheet risk management including stress testing and ALCO reporting.
Key responsibilities include:
- To take ownership for the preparation of all periodic returns (monthly, quarterly, and annual) to the PRA, FCA and Bank of England and any future reporting requirements under European rules, ensuring compliance with rules and guidance.
- To place money on deposit as instructed by the Director of Finance and ensure in accordance with Policy.
- To borrow wholesale funds as instructed by the Director of Finance and ensure in accordance with Policy.
- To transact interest rate derivatives with counterparties as instructed by the Director of Finance and ensure in accordance with Policy.
- To provide treasury reporting to Senior Management.
- To manage the TFS and other Bank of England sterling monetary tools
- To update the ILAAP and maintain the A/B split and provide liquidity stress testing to support the liquidity risk monitoring
- Provide reporting pack and commentary for ALCO
- To support the Finance Director in monitoring the management of capital, including capital modelling and updating the ICAAP
We are looking for a hands on candidate with the following skills and experience:
- Relevant Accountancy qualification
- In depth experience of Financial Reporting, whether regulatory or statutory
- Knowledge of current Finance regulation
- Highly competent in Excel and Microsoft packages
- Good Oral and Written communication skills
- Self sufficient
- Positive ‘can do’ attitude
- Team Player
- Ability to meet deadlines
