Specialist Business Development
Field based role – Devon/Cornwall, however some travel to Market Harborough is required
Up to £35k plus car allowance and bonus
Our client is a highly respected and successful financial services organisation who have an excellent opportunity for a field-based Business Development Manager.
The focus of the role is to support brokers in structuring loan facilities and packaging paperwork to ensure that customers with complex circumstances are offered practical solutions to their requirements.
Duties will include:
- To promote the Society to our existing network of Intermediaries.
- To enhance the profile of the society and support the sales team to deliver the new business target.
- Maintain and manage relationships with key intermediary partners to promote our ability to understand the complex.
- Proactively strengthen key account relationships by providing bespoke underwriting support.
- Be commercially astute with the ability to be an effective negotiator.
- Provide market intelligence to Executive, New Business Lead, and contribute to the development of new product strategy.
The successful candidate will have:
- Previous, strong underwriting experience
- Have a background in developing relationships.
- Strong time management and organisational skills.
- Confidence on the phone is essential as it is predominately a telephony based role.
- CeMAP qualified (desirable not essential)
