Our client, a fast-growing specialist in retail lending and savings, have a fantastic opportunity for an Underwriter to join their team.
The core responsibility of the Underwriter role is to examine all information necessary to complete a 1st or 2nd charge mortgage loan and the initiation of any contact that may be required of the client/broker/institution.
Duties will include: -
· Promptly and accurately completing all related underwriting/administration activities.
· The receipt and request of any outstanding documentation required to complete customer applications.
· Ensuring the successful and accurate completion of a customer’s application.
· Ensuring compliance with the company’s book of instructions, standards and regulations.
The successful candidate will have previous experience in a manual underwriting role – this experience must be within residential mortgages.
