Our client, a market leader in savings and mortgages, have an exciting opportunity for a Quality Assurance professional to join their team.


As their Quality Control Manager, you will ensure there is an effective quality assurance framework in place to manage and lead the Vendor Control team and the business, ensuring the right level of processes and controls are in place.


Duties will include: -


  • Responsible for the delivery and performance of the Vendor Controls team in the UK and India (Bangalore) c7 FTE to meet the short- and long-term business needs and capabilities across the Group identifying and promoting best practices and procedures.
  • Implement the required Vendor governance standards ensuring a robust risk-based quality assessment oversight framework are in place and reported on.
  • To provide the business with assurance and oversight of how we are engaging, managing and exiting our relationships.
  • Maintain the Vendor Management risk register and risk acceptance logs.
  • Providing timely and accurate management information and reporting on vendors and reporting through the relevant governance channels.
  • Conduct regular testing against the management and ongoing due diligence required from the business relationship owners.
  • Line manage and coach all direct reports, including all aspects of performance management, development, conduct, sickness management, appraisals, employee administration and recruitment.


The successful candidate will have previous experience within a Quality Assurance role and a strong line management background. Ideally this will be within a financial service setting.


Knowledge of Vendor Management/Vendor Control processes and operating frameworks is essential.
